QuickTime Player X Preference Pane (Mac OS X 10.6 only)
The new version of QuickTime included with Snow Leopard (called QuickTime Player X) is almost a complete overhaul of the previous version, from the look and feel of the application windows right down to the preferences menu (or lack thereof). If you were looking to change some options but don't know where to start, our Preference Pane can help you enable or disable many of QuickTime's features. It is currently at version 1.1. For more information on version 1.1, please read the release notes, which is also included in the Preference Pane bundle. You can see a screen shot of the application running below, and when you are ready, download it here.
iTunes Preference Pane (Mac OS X 10.5 and above)
Our iTunes preference pane allows you to control different aspects of Apple's iTunes software. Currently, you are able to:
-Show/Hide iTunes store links
-Show/Hide the iTunes Library playlist
-Allow half-star ratings for iTunes content
-Invert store links to point back to your own library (great for searching by artist)
-Play songs while importing from a CD
-Load entire 30 second preview from iTunes store before playing
The preference pane is currently at version 1.0. You can see a screen shot below, and when you are ready, download it here.
QuickTime Player X & iTunes Preference Pane (Mac OS X 10.6 Only)
This preference pane combines our QuickTime X preferences and our iTunes preferences into a single preference pane to reduce clutter in System Preferences. You can see a screen shot of the new tabbed view below, and when you are ready, download it here.

MCS Utilities (Mac OS X) - NEW 64-bit VERSION RELEASED 11/7/09
MCS Utilities incorporates many useful tasks into one application. The program runs in your menu bar for easy access to renaming files, showing hidden Finder items, and more repetitive tasks. Version 1.5 is the current version, which adds support for CD and DVD data burning, batch converting video files, a revised files and folders menu, .m4a and .flac audio conversion from any video on your Mac, encrypted zip archives, photo resizing, and taking screenshots directly from your menu bar. You can see screenshots below and the complete revision history
here. When you are ready, download it
here.
Regarding the new installer package for version 1.5: FFmpeg has different licensing terms when it comes to non-free libraries (such as libfaac and libfaad), which makes it against the terms to redistribute it within an application. Archiving the application within an installer package and running scripts to download, compile, and install FFmpeg locally during the installation is the only way for us to adhere to the licensing agreement. To address any confusion as to what exactly is happening during the MCS Utilities installation, we are releasing the full text of our preflight and postflight scripts for you to view.
